Every Cora product is made with pure and ethically sourced ingredients. When you buy Cora you are not only protecting your own health, but also workers' health, human rights, and the environment.
We are committed to health and transparency
Better for your body
Conventional tampons often contain pesticides linked to cancer, endocrine disruption, birth defects, reproductive illness, and infertility as well as synthetics linked to TSS. Additionally, chemicals are often used including chlorine bleach and chemical fragrances.
Cora Organic uses only 100% Certified Organic Cotton. Our tampons are free of pesticides, synthetics, and fragrances and are never treated with chlorine bleach.
Conventional cotton is the dirtiest crop in the world. The pesticides and insecticides applied contaminate water systems and soil, poisoning animals and destroying ecosystems and putting our health at risk.
By using only 100% certified organic cotton we eliminate the pesticides and insecticides that cause harm to the planet we love.
Better for the environment
Better for farmers
Many conventional farms use child labor and expose workers to dangerous chemicals.
Our organic cotton is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). GOTS protects workers' rights. They ensure that employment is voluntary, working conditions are safe, fair wages are paid, and no child labor is ever used.
We exist to empower women
We use the power of business to fight for gender equality and provide products, education, and jobs to girls and women in developing nations and right here at home.
For every month's supply of Cora you purchase, we help provide a month's supply of pads and health education to a girl in need.
million girls and women use rags, plastics, sand, and ash to manage their periods,

In Kenya we partner with ZanaAfrica Foundation which helps adolescent girls in Kenya stay in school by developing reproductive health education and sanitary pads. For every month's supply of Cora you purchase at Target, Cora gives a percentage of profits to support Zana's work to empower girls in Kenya.
In India we partner with Aakar Innovations, a social enterprise producing affordable and biodegradable sanitary pads and menstrual education for India's most vulnerable girls and women. Aakar's mini-factories manufacture the pads, supporting the local economy and providing jobs to women who would otherwise be unemployed or employed in the sex trade.
Our commitment is the same, elevate women through education, economic empowerment, and access to period care.

We also proudly partner with Mile High Workshop, an employment and job training program for those rebuilding from homelessness, addictions, and incarceration. The women of Mile High Workshop pack and ship all of Cora’s products with love from Denver.
As a sign of protest again an unjust and sexist tax on menstrual products, we pay the sales tax on all products sold through our website for all of our customers because we don’t believe you should have to.
We are part of a community of more than 1,000 companies across 60 industries with one unifying goal: redefining success in business. We meet rigorous standards of performance, accountability, and transparency, and are using the power of business to alleviate poverty, address climate change, and build strong local communities and great places to work.
